Baku TV Signs Cooperation Memorandum with Uzbekistan 24 

A cooperation memorandum was signed on October 17, 2025, in Tashkent , between Baku TV, one of Azerbaijan’s leading television channels, and Uzbekistan 24, a prominent television channel in Uzbekistan.
The document was signed by Ramin Jafarov, Director of Baku TV, and Mamedamin Safarov, Head of the Uzbekistan 24.
The ceremony was attended by Orkhan Mammadov, Member of the Board of Global Media Group, and Huseyn Guliyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan.
H. Guliyev noted that media cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan contributes to a closer understanding between the two nations: “This memorandum will further strengthen our relations of friendship and brotherhood in the information sphere. At the same time, it lays the foundation for a new stage in the development of media cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The document envisages the expansion of mutual ties in the television and information sectors, the exchange of professional experience, the implementation of joint projects, and the strengthening of information support.”
In his remarks, Orkhan Mammadov stated that the memorandum would bring new momentum to the development of media and cultural cooperation between the two countries: “The joint activities of reputable channels such as Baku TV and Uzbekistan 24 will enhance both the quality of news and the speed of information exchange. We believe that this cooperation will further enrich the information space of both countries.”
It should be noted that Baku TV, operating since 2018, is a television channel within Global Media Group. Producing news in five languages, the channel reaches a wide audience both in Azerbaijan and abroad through satellite, cable, and digital platforms.
In recent years, Baku TV has demonstrated rapid growth. In 2024 alone, the channel’s videos recorded more than 1.168 billion  views on the YouTube platform. Throughout its operations, the channel has adhered to international management standards and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
It should also be noted that Baku TV, known for its educational and socially significant projects, is today one of the most-watched channels in the country. Currently, the channel broadcasts more than 20 programs of various genres on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
