On October 1, 2025, the military leadership of Ukraine’s Donetsk region awarded Mubariz Aslanov with a commemorative badge. Aslanov serves as a correspondent of the Eastern Europe bureau of the Report News Agency and Baku TV, both part of Global Media Group.
The honorary "Donetsk Region" badge was presented by the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, General Vadim Filashkin.
The badge is awarded to individuals from various fields for fostering friendshipwith the Donetsk region.
