To mark June 1 — International Children's Day, Global Media Group organized an event for children from the Reintegration Center of the Children's Shelter under the "Children of Azerbaijan" Public Union.
During the event various entertaining games and a musical program were organized to ensure the children had an enjoyable time. To support the social adaptation of children deprived of parental care, Global Media Group donated 12 computers to the organisation at the end of the event to facilitate the children’s participation in IT classes.

It is worth noting that on June 1, 1950, at an international women’s conference organized by the UN General Assembly, it was decided to dedicate this day to the protection of children. Since then, June 1 has been celebrated as International Children's Day. The UN adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which Azerbaijan joined after gaining independence
