Employees of companies within Global Media Group actively participated in the traditional “Baku Marathon – 2025,” held on May 4, 2025. Organized for the eighth time under the slogan “Conquer the Wind!”, the marathon aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and support the development of sports.
Global Media Group does not limit its activities to internal corporate initiatives and regularly takes part in socially significant events held across the country. In this regard, participation in the Baku Marathon reflects both the strengthening of team spirit and the Group’s commitment to social responsibility.
The marathon, held at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, covered a distance of 21 kilometers. Nearly 28,000 people registered for the event, which started and finished at the State Flag Square. In addition to Azerbaijani citizens, the marathon also attracted strong interest from foreigners residing in the country as well as tourists.
