Dmitry Pinevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the office of Baku TV, part of Global Media Group.
During the meeting, Baku TV Director Ramin Jafarov introduced the ambassador to the channel’s operational principles, news production process, and real-time broadcasting mechanisms. He highlighted the channel’s achievements in digital media and ongoing efforts to expand its international partnerships. In particular, Jafarov noted that cooperation memorandums signed with leading media organizations in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and China have strengthened Baku TV’s presence and credibility in the global information space.
The parties exchanged views on developing media cooperation and emphasized the importance of mutual information exchange.  Ambassador Pinevich commended Baku TV’s technological capabilities and the speed and efficiency of its news coverage, stressing that closer ties between Azerbaijani and Belarusian media platforms would benefit both nations. He also noted that he regularly follows the activities of Baku TV and other media outlets within Global Media Group, expressing appreciation for their professional approach to news production. The ambassador underscored the importance of enhancing experience-sharing and ensuring the free flow of accurate information between the two countries’ media institutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for future cooperation and the implementation of joint projects between Baku TV and relevant media organizations in Belarus. Director Ramin Jafarov thanked the ambassador for the visit and expressed confidence that Baku TV’s international cooperation experience would contribute positively to the development of media relations with Belarus.
