Global Media Group is the media partner for the conference on ‘The Presentation of Religious Topics in the Media: Joint Responsibility in Safeguarding Religious Stability’, held in Qusar on 16-17 July, organised by the State Committee for Work with Religious Organisations.

The event was attended by the leadership of the State Committee for Relations with Religious Organisations and the Gusar Rayon Executive Authority, media representatives, theologians and clergy.

The conference discussed the professional and responsible presentation of religious topics in the media, the role of the press in religious education, and the duties of the media in the information battle against negative phenomena such as radicalism, extremism and intolerance. A media tour of religious places of worship in the region was also organised as part of the programme.
