Based on the Decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, representatives of Global Media Group and its affiliated media organizations have been awarded high state honors for their contributions to the development of the national press.

Orkhan Aliakbar Mammadov, member of the Board of Directors of Global Media Group, was awarded the “Tərəqqi” Medal.

•    Azada Narman Balayeva – Chief Editor of Baku TV
•    Samir Fazail Ibrahimov – Head of the Western Azerbaijan Department, Baku TV
•    Ilaha Firdovsi Mammadli – Deputy Chief Editor, Report Information Agency
•    Emil Akif Guliyev – Deputy Chief Editor, Report Information Agency
•    Kamala Pasha Mustafayeva – Head of the European Bureau, Report Information Agency
•    Ulviyya Malik Gulmammadova – Deputy Chief Editor, Oxu.Az
•    Timur Ahmad Huseynov – Chief Editor, Caliber.az news portal
•    Jamil Hasanagha Bayramov – Deputy Chief Editor, Caliber.az news portal

In addition, Fuad Polad Huseynaliyev, Director of Report Information Agency, was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Journalist.”
